My dear friend ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) veridian_dair is a wonderfully talented artist. She's been the one to motivate me to get back into art, myself, and I've been having a great time with it. One day a month or so ago, she asks me, "If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?" I didn't even have to think about it - "Elizabeth Swann."
And so, she embarked on a weeks-long effort to produce the following artwork for me, using a recent picture of myself and the AWE promo poster. I'm blown away by it, and I know you all will be too!

viridian_dair rec'd this delightful Snarry to me, and I enjoyed it so thoroughly. It's totally canon-compliant - epilogue included, and it's the first such Snarry I've read that doesn't vilify Ginny (which is something I appreciate SO much). Beyond that, though, it's a perfect blend of canon and fanon, with a lovely portrayal of Harry's children, and the whole story just made me grin madly. It's PG-13, which feels like a rarity in Snarry, but certainly doesn't suffer for it; is perhaps more beautiful because of it.

This IJ primarily exists at the present time to let me post comments and friend other IJ users (typically Harry Potter fanfic authors) whose posts I enjoy. I am well over 18 years of age. I also moderate the classic_hpfic IJ - take a look!
At some point in the future I hope this journal hosts my own fanfic... but that'll happen when I write it. :) |
